Alert notification | Novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV)

Over the last few weeks, you would have heard about the outbreak of the Coronavirus in China including recent reports of the confirmed cases in Australia.

We encourage everyone to read the advice from the Commonwealth Department of Health regarding the Coronavirus - by clicking here a new window will open. 

If you have visited China anytime in December to now, it is recommended that you do not attend the workplace until you have been checked and cleared by a doctor. During this time, you should be alert for symptoms related to a fever or other respiratory symptoms.

If you have not visited China, but you are exhibiting any flu-like symptoms or skin rashes, it is recommended that you see your doctor and that you do not attend your workplace until you have recovered [personal/careers leave].

How you can help prevent an infection: wash your hands frequently, cover your mouth while coughing or sneezing, avoid large crowds of people and contact with wild or farm animals.
