Employee Training & Development

Menzies is committed to the professional development of staff members. Our initiatives combine work-based activities with formal tertiary education and training.

When you join Menzies, you are given a Menzies company induction program, which includes a comprehensive HSEQ component, and then a site specific induction. Both are mandatory before starting work. This consistent approach ensures that you are ready to perform your job safely and efficiently from day one. It also ensures you understand the bigger picture, what Menzies is trying to achieve and how you fit into that vision in delivering quality service to our customers.

It’s the first step in providing a sense of purpose and engaging with all our employees at a local level.

Menzies also actively participates in the cleaning industry’s National Training Scheme, which offers formal qualifications in Certificates III, and IV in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations). As a part of their training, staff members undertake a thorough study program that is delivered by a registered training organisation.
